The Name Says it All
For years the Peninsula region of Virginia has produced top players that have impacted recreational leagues, youth travel clubs, high schools, college programs and even the pros. With the college system struggling through the transfer portal and NIL deals for players - it has become much more difficult for quality players to find a landing spot at the next level. Enter FC Peninsula Pro23 that will compete in the Fall and Spring seasons in the UPSL Premier League. This launch will provide a top level minor league structure preparing players to transition into the professional ranks, continue to develop "gap year" players in preparation for college opportunities or for top level players looking to extend their competitive soccer carrers. The Pro23 1st team will be made up of capable players 23 years and under but will also include up to 5 over 23 players to round out the roster and enhance the level of the team.
UPSL Academy for U13-U17 Players
In addition to the Premier 1st team and Reserves, FC Peninsula has partnered with Rush Academy to produce competitive youth teams to participate in the UPSL National Academy Leagues for U12/13, U14/15 & U16/17 age groups ready to compete at the top level. In addition to Rush players the UPSL Academy teams are "club neutral" open to any high level player regardless of their club affiliation.
